Notarial online procedures

Prerequisites

Smartphone
A smartphone with an NFC interface (all current devices have this) and mobile phone reception as well as the notary app, which is available free of charge from the App Store or in the Google Play Store can be downloaded.

Computer or tablet
Computer, laptop or iPad with camera and microphone/speaker as well as a standard browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.).

Internet
A sufficiently fast Internet connection.

Identity documents
An ID card with activated eID function and ID card PIN. You can find out more about this at personalausweisportal.de.

For ID cards issued before 02.08.2021, you will also need a passport. EU nationals and third-country nationals can also apply under certain conditions participate in the online procedure.

Procedure

The process is very simple:

1. Preparation: Create an account at online.notar.de and follow all the necessary identification steps. Select your request and choose Henri-Philipp Sawade as your notary with office in Brandenburg an der Havel. Send your request to the notary's office for processing and to arrange an appointment.
2. Order: We will ensure that we receive all the necessary documents for processing and arrange a joint appointment with you.
3. Notarization/certification: In a joint video conference, the document to be notarized/certified is discussed and digitally signed in a legally secure manner.
4. Conclusion: We subsequently take care of the necessary completion of the request, e.g. by arranging the entry in the register.
